The Feeder Application
The VersatileFile product suite is an easy to use application with which external systems can be feeded.With external systems are meant, all kinds of Content Management systems, Human Resource Management systems, Document Management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, S Document Capture and Document Sorting systems.
The VersatileFile product suite is the so called Feeder application. The Feeder application can be divided in the following three parts:
1. VersatileFile Recognition Server
2. VersatileFile Connect Server application
3. VersatileFile Secure Repository
What is the Feeder application?
VersatileFile is "The Feeder Application" which can feed every Enterprise Content Management solution.
The Feeder Application processes analog or digital documents, so that they can be viewed in every Content
management application. This means that all the relevant data is prepared (think of: metadata, full text searchable OCR,
document type, placement in the repository and the workflow) after which the document can be placed in the selected repository.
What is ECM?
The technology and aids, that are used for scanning, digitalizing, management, storing, capturing and delivery of content
in every place in each organization.
ECM aids and the connected strategies make it possible to manage all unstructured data in an organization and support

To make sure you have a high quality digital archive it is important to make sure that the input
is high quality. Input needs to be controlled; documents need to have metadata added and the
documents have to be placed in the right location. Input profiles, document recognition, data
extraction, data classification and barcodes can be used to ensure this. Documents can also be
made full text searchable (optional).
Each document with metadata will automatically be placed in the right repository. VersatileFile
can be used as input and retrieval for existing and newly created repositories like MS-SQL or Oracle.
But the state of the art connector technology can also be connected to each random document management
application. This is realized by the ease of use, friendly user interface and by using the latest
development technologies.
The system has great flexibility through a unique integration between document repositories and the
import and export and report utilities.
