VersatileFile Secure Repository
The Versatile Secure Repository is a storage technique, which is specifically developed to make it possible to store documents
invisible and secured on a hard disk.
Because of this technology and architecture, the Versatile product suite is compliant to the ISO 15489 standard
and the Dutch regulations in regards to the required storage time, authenticity and digital durability.
The architecture of the secure repository is a combination of Microsoft SQL or Oracle in combination with the so called
container storage methodology.
Core functionality is the bi-directionally integrity by which the connection between the documents and the SQL
database is guaranteed at all times.
Each variant of a document like the source document, a version, an issue, an annotation or an edition are grouped,
encrypted and stored.
The Versatile Secure Repository contains such a diagnose intelligence that it makes sure that the hard drive capacity
is not exceeded.
